On the Solemnity of the Epiphany of Our Lord

 something quite unexpected happened. In a small isolated town, literally in the middle of nowhere, nearly 70 people attended an extra-ordinary form Latin Mass in Lincolnshire. As many will be aware, this is an unprecedented occurrence in this part of the world. This comes after another recent & successful Votive Mass of the Holy Cross at Market Rasen when over half of the Sunday congregation turned out in late October. Fr.O’Connor of Brigg travelled to Holy Rood, along with the Brigg server who also journeyed a great distance to serve this Mass. We are indebted to both of them. A great debt of thanks also goes out to our schola who sang some wonderful ancient plainchant appropriate to the Mass. The photos were taken by John Aron.
